Ahoy, Matey!

Hello!

Just a quick post today!  Over at Paper Playtime this week our challenge is themed 'Ahoy, Matey!'.  You can create any paper project that encompasses this theme in some way.  I am using a sketch from Liz at Scrapbooking, Sketches and Stamps...Oh My! (Liz has oodles of inspiring sketches on her blog!).  I made a cute little card that can be used for a new baby boy.

Card Base
- Marina Mist (Stampin' Up!)

Mat
- Crumb Cake (Stampin' Up!)
- Embossed with Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder
- Accented with black ink dragged across the dots

Image and Sentiment (Outside)
- stamped in True Black ink (Papertrey Ink)
- coloured with Stampin' Write markers in Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso  (Stampin' Up!)
- matted with a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
- scallop border in Crushed Curry (Stampin' Up!)

Image and Sentiment (Inside)
- stamped in True Black ink (Papertrey Ink)
- coloured with Stampin' Write markers in Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso (Stampin' Up!)

Hope you like it!  Head over to Paper Playtime to play along and check out the other challenge participants submissions!

Please leave a comment.  I love to hear from you!

You know what I like about this card? The simplicity of it. I love the image in the corner and the scalloped border. Great job! Isn't fun to play in paper? :) Janis
