So You Think You Can Dance!
Hello! I just wanted to share that I went to see So You Think You Can Dance last night!!! Season 5's US top ten did a show in Toronto and it was FANTASTIC!!! They did a TON of the dances from the season...mostly pairs dances, a few group dances, and each of the top ten had a solo opportunity. I got some good pics (well they look good on my tiny camera screen)...when I upload them after work I will post some! Have a great day!

Video #5 - Circle Mini Album
Hello! I have been a busy lady for the past week! My cousin came in to town to visit her sister and I, and the day after she left, a friend called to let me know she would be flying into town that morning! She just flew back home today, and now my aunt, uncle and cousin are coming in this evening, and my parents tomorrow! Yay for visits!!
This has seriously minimized my crafting time however, so I am itching to get to some unfinished projects this morning. Yesterday while my friend and her husband were at a conference I was able to make a quick video showing you how I made a circle album. It is really cute, and the perfect size for a brag book, or even if you added a few more pages, a monthly announcements book (birthdays, anniversaries, etc).
Hope you like it!

Video #4 - Paper Bag Mini Album
Hello! Today I have just a quick video demonstrating how to make a paper bag mini album. I came up with this quick idea because I LOVE the look of kraft cardstock, however I didn't want to make a minibook with thinner pages. The paper bags give the pages a thick, rustic look that I definitely LOVE! I haven't started decorating the book yet, however when I do I will post an updated video showing how it looks! I hope you like it!
What You Will Need For This Project:
- 5 to 6 lunch size paper bags (more or less as you choose)
- thick 2 way glue pen
- 12x12 piece kraft cardstock (or other colour of your choice)
- paper trimmer and scorer
Please leave a comment! I love to hear from you!!

Video #3 - Puppy Paws Card
Hello! I am really getting addicted to these videos! I have another one posted today of a cute card with a puppy theme to it. It turned out oh so cute! This was my first attempt at editing a film - lets just say it wasn't the greatest! haha...I somehow deleted some parts that weren't supposed to be deleted, so here are some things that got cut out:
- I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut the envelope
- I cut the envelope using the Roly Poly Function key, using the shift option to get the envelope for a square card.
- I cut this at 4 3/4 inches.

Video #2 - 'Our Last Day' Scrapbook Page
Hello! I am really enjoying making these videos!!! They are taking FOREVER for me to upload to youtube for some reason (this one took over 7hrs!!), so I have to figure out what I am doing wrong - they should not take this long!
However...I have a new video for you today! I am working on a scrapbook for my sister (she doesn't scrap, but does appreciate the outcome! haha). She went on a vacation earlier this year with her friend, and now I am putting together the book for her! The page I am making today is the very last page in her book. I made the page based on a sketch by Liz at Scrapbooking, Sketches and Life...Oh My! I used sketch #34 - she has 73, and keeps adding a new one each week! They are oh, so fantastic!! An excellent resource, especially when doing a whole book in order and you feel a bit like you are repeating yourself! As a sidenote, Liz is a wonderfully nice person whom I met over the Labour Day weekend! I went to visit her while I was in her town for a wedding, and I bought some oh-so-hard-to-find SU Baja Breeze cardstock from her (THANKS LIZ!!).
Ok, so I hope you like the video! Please let me know what you think! I love your comments!

Video #1 - Two Mini-Albums
Hello! I just uploaded my first video (it took soooooo long! is this normal?), and am quite excited about it! It was so easy! Included in the video are two mini-albums. The first is my version of a tag album Mary posted on her site using toilet paper rolls (talk about easy recycling!!!). It turned out SO cute (hope you like it Mary!). The second is a quick album I came up with using a file-folded (I am certain I didn't recreate the wheel on this one). It was SO easy to make! If anyone decided to make one, please post a link in my comments section so I can take a peak at it! Thanks for watching, and I hope you like the video!
Here are some still shots of the projects as well.

Anniversary Card
Hello...just a quick post of a card I made a bit ago. This is an anniversary card for my parents anniversary using some bits and pieces from my stash. I loved this flower from K&Co, so I based the other colours around it. Hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend!

Prom
One of my blogger friends Janis posted a picture of her friends from their prom. I obviously immediatly had to break out my pictures from my own prom, and am sharing this for her!
This is from 2001! I am on the far right in the blue dress. I am still very good friends with many of the girls in this picture. The boy in the background (there are 2, the one on the left), the girl immediately to the left of him, and the girl in the tiara all stood up in our wedding! The girl in the very front with the dark blue dress did a reading at our wedding, and several of the other girls attended! I had such a fantastic group of friends!!
ALSO, the guy that stood up in my wedding, and the girl who is standing on his right (our left) are gettting MARRIED next summer!!! They were just friends in this picture, but several years later they decided to give dating a try...!!! They have known each other since they were babies! It is too cute!
Scroll down for another post from today!
Note Card Sets
Lately I have been finding myself SO in the mood to make note card sets. I have no idea what I am going to do with all of these cards (other than of course possibly send out some random hello's), but I just keep making them! It is too fun! I think I need to get some new pictures developed so I can channel some of this card-making energy into some scrapbooking instead. I have sooo many things to still scrapbook from my wedding and honeymoon, never mind all of the other things that have happened in the year since! Oh well...the cards still look cute!!
Only the one set (the first set with red, green, blue, black and white) is complete .... I haven't decided on sentiments for the other two sets, and am waiting for my oval punch to come in. I want to use the oval punch, with the matching scallop oval on the brown and blue set. It should be here soon! Hope you like them!
