PTI WCMD Challenge #2

Hello again! Back with the second challenge from Papertrey Ink's World Card Making Day celebration.

For this challenge we were asked to use the influences of Mexican art to inspire our work. So I did some searching...and found colour, colour, COLOUR! So I made a colourful card! haha...

Here is one of my favourite pictures that I found during my searches:

And here is my card!

I used PTI kraft cardstock for my base, and Stampers Select white for my mat. Using Polka Dot Basics Stamp Set, and Pure Poppy, Orange Zest, Lemon Tart, New Leaf, Enchanted Evening,, Plum Pudding, and True Black Inks, I created the background images. I added some black satin ribbon, a black prima flower and a sparkly silver brad to spice it up. The sentiment is from the Mega Mixed Messages set, and is stamped on Stampers Select White, and matted with Kraft cardstock.

Hope you enjoy! Please leave a comment! I love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by today Lisa, I used the stampede cherry blossom stamp, it's not a PTI. Sorry for the confussion. I wanted to get them up before I took the time to add all the details. Will do that this evening.

Love the plate pic you used, great colors on your card.

Happy WCMD!

I love the polka dots! I've never thought to use them with different colors together like that, or the tiny ones over the top. Great card!
