Scraplift - Lauren's Creative

Hello!!

I have a two page layout to share today that is based on a layout done originally by Lauren at Lauren's Creative (I LOVE HER DESIGNS!!!!!!!!).  You can see her original post here...I still like her layout way more than mine...it is so vibrant and delicious looking...but I didn't have the papers she used, and found some lovely substitutes to incorporate into my layout.  I did make some changes, but the majority is based on her work (seriously...love her...haha).  Hope you enjoy!!

Have a great day!  Please leave a comment.  I love to hear from you!

Flaunt It Friday - Friday the 13th Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to the Flaunt it Friday 'Friday the 13th' Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from Sharon's Blog.  If you just came across this post randomly, head back over to the Flaunt it Friday's homepage to start the hop from there!

At Flaunt it Fridays we 'flaunt' our stuff using a specific cricut cut!  This week we are featurning the Happy Hauntings Cartridge.  All of us designers have made a project using the 'Friday the 13th' cut on page 54 of the HH manual.  We also each create a second project using any cut we choose from Happy Hauntings!  I have two layouts for you today.  Hope you enjoy!!

My first layout features the Friday the 13th cut (pg 54), as well as the flourished border (pg 45).  I used my gypsy to hide all of the cuts to just get the middle green piece.

For my second layout I used the Vampire Font feature to create this Twilight Saga theme page.  (Oh how I love Twilight).  The circles are from Layer 1 feature on page 60, and the heart is from Create-a-Critter.  I am also submitting this layout to the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday 'Selective Inking' challenge!!

Your next stop on the hop is Corri's Blog!  Have fun!!

Here is the hop lineup in case you get turned around at some point!

Teacher Appreciation Blog Hop

Welcome and thank you for joining us at Jen’s Craft Corner Teacher Appreciation Blog Hop!   You should have arrived here from www.beachcreationsforyou.blogspot.com .  If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Jen’s blog so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share!
Being a teacher myself, I definitely love today's theme!  There are so many teachers who work so very hard to help our kidlets get the most from their educational experiences!  It is great to show them a little love now and again!!  I have two quick and simple projects for you today.   Both can be made with kids (or without) and would definitely be appreciated by any teacher!!!  Hope you enjoy!

I used the reverse embossing/inking technique with this bookmark.  Using clear embossing powder I stamped the letter background, and then sponged the blue ink over top.  I love this technique as it always looks different and is impossible to mess up!  I have a great group of kids this year and we share a common interest/love of reading, so this gift is a bit after my own heart!!

Note Card Set
I love having fun little note cards to send home with students, and thought these turned out really cute!  Super simple to put together as well!

Thank you so much for joining us for today’s Teacher Appreciation Blog Hop!  Your next stop is www.my3escrapbooking.blogspot.com!
