Scrapfest U! Update

Hello! Sorry this post has taken so long to go up - I was having some difficulty with uploading the video. I had an AMAZING time at Scrapfest U!, and I am so looking forward to going to the next Scrapfest event in April. It will be held in Kitchener on April 16th and 17th. You can check out all the details for the next Scrapfest event HERE!

In the meantime, I wanted to share a bit about my weekend, which was easier to do in a video than in pictures and text - so here it is!

I forgot to mention that I also won this great book - It is called The Scrapbooker's Handwriting Workshop, and it has pages and pages filled with different styles of handwriting, directions on how to recreate them, and then practice pages as well. It is so cool!

At the end of the weekend we each received these cute 'diplomas' - too cute.

Someone PLEASE write me a message and explain what this is :) - hahaha

Thanks for checking in! Please leave a comment, I love to hear from you!

Hi Lisa, WOW! The Scrapfest U sounds fabulous...I think we had one scheduled here in Denver, but they canceled it!! You won some great goodies. I'm never that lucky.

As for the QuickCuts Squeeze I tossed mine in the drawer. You need to have a very sturdy surface and a strong arm. It's great for just starting out, but then I purchased the Revolution and then I wanted the letters and die cuts to come out faster so I bought a Cricut. You can go to to see a video demonstration of the product. I have a lot of QuicKutz dies that I still use, but I like my Revolution. You can also use the dies in the Cuttlebug and the Big Shot.

Good to visit your blog again.
