Hello! Just a quick update - the winner of the Spring Blog Hop Giveaway (Sassafrass 'Sketched' stamp set) is commenter #44 Anniebee
Anniebee said... Hi, Lisa! Your layout is really cute and I love that you made the matching card. That's a brilliant idea! I should start doing that to use up my scraps while building up my card stash. I do save even small scraps and I use them all the time but I never seem to be able to use them all up and my scrap boxes get fuller all the time. Thanks for sharing and for offering a chance to win some cool blog candy!
Congratulations! Please contact me with your address so I can send you your prize!!
PS - I am a new MAC user and don't know how to take screen shots with this 'newfangled' technology...hahaha...any tips?
Hello and welcome to the Spring Blog Hop hosted by Jen at Jen's Craft Corner!! You should have arrived here from Amber's Blog. If you are just happening upon this post randomly you can head over to Jen's Blog to start at the beginning. Jen has some blog candy available too, so definitely check it out!! The theme of this hop is anything SPRING which I love because it is one of my favourite times of the year! Everything is fresh and new, and summer is just around the corner!
We each created a Spring themed project. I created a scrapbook layout which will be included in a baby book I am making for a friend. I used my Cricut Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, and Papertrey Ink Fresh Alphabet stamp set.
I then used the same goodies to make a similarly themed card to show how quick and easy it is to use up your scraps, stick with a theme, AND switch between scrapping and card making...something I used to think was IMPOSSIBLE!!!
Be sure to leave a comment to be entered for a chance to win some blog candy!! I have a super cute floral stamp set from Sassafras called 'sketched'. SO cute.
Leave your comment below for a chance to win. The contest is open until Monday March 28th at 12:00 pm (lunch time!). I will post the winners Monday afternoon. Good luck! Your next stop on the hop is Beach Creations!
Hello and welcome to the Flaunt it Friday Birthday Bash Bunny Blog Hop!! You should have arrived here from Sandra's Blog. If you are just happening upon this post randomly you can start at the beginning of the hop on the Flaunt it Friday Blog. The Flaunt it Friday Blog Hops feature a specific cut from a Cricut Cartridge of choice, and this week we are featuring the Bunny with Present from page 27 of the Birthday Bash Cartridge!!! . We also create a second project from the same cartridge, and I used the banner cut, numbers, and number shadows to make a SUPER SIMPLE mini album. Stamps used are Papertrey Ink Birthday Bash and Birthday Bask Sentiments.
BIRTHDAY BUNNY TAG
The album pages have the birthday year on the front, and space on the back for journalling and a photo. OODLES of room for embellishment for any birthday boy or girl! I used the banner cut for the pages, and stamped them with a Hero Arts background stamp (envelope liner). The numbers and shadows are also stamped with a musical background stamp.
Be sure to leave a link to your project on the main challenge site for your chance to be entered in the draw for this month's grand prize. Peachy Keen stamps is sponsoring the Grand Prize give away with a Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment!! Your next stop on the hop is Sheandra!
Please leave a comment. I love to hear from you!!
