Hello!
I am participating in the challenge over at My Pink Stamper, where we were asked to make a card using our Cricut, and a winter image. I chose one of the snowmen from the Snow Friends cartridge that was released as a holiday special edition cartridge last winter. There are so many cute little snowmen to cut out!!! I have a video (FINALLY!!!!) to go along with the card. Hope you enjoy!!!
Cardstock for card base and mat: Dark Chocolate, Spring Rain (PTI)
Patterned Paper and Cardstock for Snowman: Scraps from my collection (Unknown Brands)
Cartridge: Snow Friends
Stamp: Signature Christmas (PTI)
Ink: True Black (PTI)
Stickles: Frosted Lace (Ranger)
Felt
Have a great day!

Video - File Folder Mini Album
Hello!
Here is the second part to the gift I made for my friend to give a friend who had a baby (haha - hillarious sentence). You can see the first part of the gift here.
In this post I have a video showing how I create my file folder mini albums. I showed the first one I ever made in my very first video. I had a few questions about how I put it together, so you can find all the details in todays video! I hope you like it! I used Papertrey Ink's Top Ten, and Top Ten Additions stamp sets for my images, and sentiments. Lettering stamps are from a set from Walmart - forget the company that makes them.
Hope you like it!

Video # 20 - Distressed Flowers
Hello!
I made a new video tutorial (FINALLY!) showing how I made some super cute distressed flowers to use on a few projects. These are so fun and easy to make and I think I am kind of addicted to them at the moment. After making them I put together a quick card, and super simple scrapbook page that is ready to go whenever I find the perfect pictures for it! Pictures of the projects are below the video. They show just how quickly a simple project can go together, as well as how easy it is to use the same products for both scrapbooking and card manking.
Hope you like everything!

PTI Resist Emboss Challenge
Hello!
Papertrey Ink is keeping the fun going over on Nichole's blog today. She has done a video demonstrating the Resist Emboss stamping technique, and has challenged us PTI lovers to give it a try! This was the first (and second) time I have done this technique. The reason it is my first and second all in one is because my first try didn't work so well. I used the large flourish from PTI's Fancy Flourishes, and Lemon Tart ink. I am not sure if this is simply a bad combo (thin stamp, light ink), if it was a problem with one or the other (thin stamp OR light ink), or if I simply didn't apply enough ink to the image!! Either way, attempt number two was MUCH better!
I made a book mark using my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge to cut my base on Stamper's Select White (PTI), and shadow on Smokey Shadow (PTI). My background is stamped in Smokey Shadow ink using my Text Styles (PTI) background stamp. The main image is a combo of the large and a smaller leaf image from Turning a New Leaf (PTI) (how perfect of a name for a bookmark right?) stamped in Versa Mark ink, and embossed with clear embossing power from Stampin' Up!. And the blotting (for lack of a better word...sponging maybe?) was done using a sponge dauber (yes, sponging is the better word) and Spring Moss ink (PTI).

Here is a video showing how I put this together:
Hope you enjoy!

Today the 2010 stamp design team was announced, and a challenge was issued. Each designer posted an image on their blog. We had to select an image, print it out, and use it in a project. How fun!
