Just got in from a weekend of family visits and camp fun! Took some great pictures with the new camera, and have some great LO's in mind. I just recently got my new Papertrey Ink colour pack in (Enchanted Evening Color Collection) and am excited to put it to use! I will post my LO's as soon as they are done!

Just a Quicky!

OK, so I just got a new camera this afternoon! It is a Panasonic Lumix (DMC-FZ28), and I took some new pictures of my Father's Day LO and the difference is phenomenal!! Check it out
Also, I went to a Scrapbooking class tonight at our local store Scrapbooking Friendzy, and made this super cute Ninabrook designs LO (Live Happily)...it is SOOOO CUTE!!!

Father's Day Layout (A few weeks behind!!)

Last night I had my Stampin' Up party and it went really well!! I think a few friends who were just there to enjoy some company have caught a bit of the 'itch' to craft!! When I saw how much they were enjoying the different techniques our demonstrator was showing us, I was oh-so-pleased!My one friend 'K' wants to sit down with me and help her pick papers and embellishments to do a fun album, as well as possibly her wedding album, and she has never scrapbooked before! I so hope she enjoys it!

I have finally finished my Father's Day LO. I think it is a little bit busy, but I do enjoy it quite a bit! We had a really fun day full of eating, chatting, some intense competition on both the bocci and chess fronts!!

Tuesday Update

Today I finalized the details for my first Stampin' Up party. I will be hosting tomorrow night, and have a list a mile long of the items I want to order!

In the mean time I have been working on a layout from Father's Day with my in-laws. It is turning out pretty cute. I will post a picture of the final product as soon as I finish!

Here is a picture of the card I made for my father and father-in-law for their special day.
At the time I didn't think to write down the recipe, and a few of the coming projects I will be posting are the same, however I will make sure to do so for all new projects! I did, however, cut the letters using the Cuttin' Up Cricut Cartridge. This cartridge is super cute and I find myself going back to it all the time. The letters are a great size even when cut at a smaller dimension. You can check out the details for this cartridge here.
Hope all is well and I will be sure to write an update of my Stampin' Up purchases A.S.A.P. :)

First Post

This is my very first blog post! I have just come in from visiting family at camp, and am itching to get started on some layouts I have in mind from pictures taken during our visit! The weather was fantastic!

A little bit about me - I have always been into making crafts of a variety of sorts, even as a child some of my best memories are of my mother taking me to JoAnn's, (I live in Canada, but we are a boarder city so making a quick trip 'across' the bridge to JoAnn's was quite common!), to pick up supplies for some craft or another. I have always found some items just too special to use, and end up saving them 'for something special', and the same seems to happen with my scrapbooking supplies! I have just gotten into the paper-crafting hobbies in the past few months, and mostly focus on scrapbooking and card making thus far. I am really enjoying myself, and hope to share some of my inspirations and creations with others through this blog!
